William McKinley Burl, Sr.

Mr. William Burl, Sr. was born November 1, 1955, to the late Edward Burl, Sr. and Loretta (Oliver) Burl of St. Louis, Missouri. There, he accepted Christ at an early age.

He later moved to Little Rock, AR where he attended Hall High School. There he met and later married the love of his life, Gail Burl. Following his High School graduation, he went on to attend The University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Melody Burl of Little Rock, AR, his parents Edward Burl, Sr., mother Loretta Burl, siblings Edward Jr., Donald, James (Yvonne), Abe Milton, and Joseph Burl all of Missouri. Sisters Loretta Hayman (Harry) Valeria Burl and Linda Burl of Little Rock.

William was a devoted husband and father. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Gail Burl, two children; Shandrail (Myrickki) and William Burl, Jr. (Jan) all of Little Rock, AR. He also leaves one sister, Lydia Buchanan of Kansas City, M0, and one brother Michael Burl of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends who will truly miss him.
