Vincent Edward Johnson, Sr.

Vincent “Vince” Edward Johnson, Sr., born January 3, 1964, Little Rock Arkansas. He departed this Earth and made his Heavenly transition on June 13, 2025. Graduated from Parkview High School in1983. Confessed his belief in God, commitment in heart, and his service to others.

Vince as a youth, was sneaky, adventurous, mischievous, curious, and high-strung. You

had to watch him though, because he would take things apart. He once took out the entire circuitry of a TV, putting it back together, another story!

In adulthood, a Self-made Man, “Boss Man”, dedicated, hardworking, no-nonsense, and serious about his hustle, never had idle hands! Vince started working at a very early age in lawncare, branched out in many industries, restaurant/Chef, Coca Cola Company, Ace Hardware, other entrepreneurial opportunities, and even opened his own business (Tobacco)! Vince was last employed with Sage V Foods, described as a Gem! He worked tirelessly as a Forklift Driver until he became challenged in health and had to retire early.

Preceded in death by Parents. Helen Naomi and Adolph Henry McFadden; Robert Earl Johnson Brother; Nephews, Deshawn, Kelvin, and Reginald Johnson, and Raymond Williams III.

Father of one Son (union Phyllis Jones), Vincent E Johnson. Jr. (Rachel), Ashton Johnson, Grandson, and Amber Grant, Bonus Daughter.

Leaves to cherish his memory: Son, Grandson, and Daughter; Barbara Turner, Fiancé; Siblings, Gwendolyn Johnson, Dwight Johnson, Carolyn Thompson, Sheila Johnson, and James “Red” Johnson. A host of Nephews, Nieces, Great-nephews, Great-nieces, cousins, family, and friends....

His Posse: Ken Piggee, Mark Norwood, Jirard “Crack” Mitchell, Julius “Ju” Williams, Andrew Shelton, Louis Hayes, Ricky Cole, Steve Williams, and Dale “Greyhound” Gray Sr.

Pride/joy: Family and Cujo Johnson his dog. Loved to cook, grill, host fish fry gatherings, basketball (Bulls), and to the core a fan of The San Francisco 49ers (Go Red & Gold)!

Strangers: None! He commanded the room with his charismatic Vincent Style, had such a draw, that before you knew it, he was in charge or had others eating out of his hand!
