Pastor Tony Hindman was born July 3, 1967 in Hope, Arkansas to the late Doris (Sylvester) Marie Greathouse Williams. Tony is the second child of four of his mother’s children, Jimmy Andrew Ross (deceased), Belinda (Marlon III) Ann (Williams) Cook (deceased) and Trina Bernice Langston of Hempstead County area. Howard W. Hindman is the father of Tony Hindman and Tony’s siblings, Dorothy Hindman, Debra Hindman and Glen Austin Hindman which are of Hempstead County and surrounding areas. His grandparents, Lonnie Greathouse and Mattie (Hunter) Greathouse, and then after Lonnie Greathouse married Alverlean Greathouse.
Tony went on to graduate from Saratoga High School in 1985, and was known to be a diligent worker, even from youth including working at a chicken house in his early years, as well as Campbell Soup, and other careers. He continued his education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. During which were born to him and Florence Dawn (Raue) Hindman, Doris Dawn Antonice Hindman and Toni Laurine Hindman. Also, Tony was stepfather to Jeremy Raue. He attended First United Pentecostal Church in Fayetteville, while attending U of A in Fayetteville. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Education, specializing in Mathematics. He enlisted in the Air Force National Guard Reserves and worked for the Pulaski County Special School District, which included Oak Grove High School and Jacksonville High School, from which he retired. He went on to pursue a job at Porocel and obtained Peer Support Specialist Certification from the Missouri Credentialing Board.
While attending First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas under the leadership of Bishop Leodies Warren, Tony Hindman was later married to Felicia Evette (Woods) Hindman. Born to this marital union was Courtney Marie Hindman, Christa Chanelle Hindman and David Antony Hindman of Jacksonville, Arkansas. While attending First Pentecostal Church, Tony was involved in many church auxiliaries, including being a trustee, Youth President, church photographer, elder among other roles. He served as assistant pastor under the leadership of District Elder Eddie Rogers. Becoming a pastor of Strong Tower Apostolic Ministries for over ten years, he was active in various church organization auxiliaries, as well.
Pastor Tony Hindman leaves to cherish his memories, wife Felicia Evette Hindman (Jacksonville, AR), daughters Doris Dawn Antonice Ene and Toni Laurine Hindman (of North Little Rock, AR), Courtney Marie Hindman, Christa Chanelle Hindman and a son, David Antony Hindman of Jacksonville, AR. Sisters, Trina (Charley) Bernice Langston (of Texarkana, AR), Dorothy Hindman, Debra (Hindman) Gay a brother, Glen Austin Hindman (of Texarkana, TX area) a God sister Teresa (David) Featherson, grandchildren Xavilla, Katsumi, Emeril, Godsgift, Nataniali, Billy Lott, Emiliza Hindman, as well as a host of friends and family.
