Rosetta Britt was born November 8, 1963, in Marvell, Arkansas to Patsy Louise Britt and the late Tom Britt. She passed away on July 20, 2025. She accepted Christ at an early age at Silver Cloud Missionary Baptist Church in Helena, Arkansas. She was educated in Aubrey and Helena-West Helena school districts and graduated from Central High School in West Helena, Arkansas in 1984.
Throughout her education, Rosetta was part of the Britt Trio children who continued their education in the same grade as result of birthdays and the Marianna school district boycott. She and her siblings were often questioned about this dynamic as she was the Irish twin to her brother. She went on to take some classes at Pulaski Technical College in Little Rock, Arkansas. Rosetta was employed at Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Arkansas Children’s Hospital for many years.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her father, Tom Britt. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Rickey Jimerson, Jr. of Aubrey, TX and Joe “Joey” Hofford, Jr. of North Little Rock, Arkansas; mother, Patsy Britt of Little Rock, Arkansas; four sisters, Julia Boss of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rachell Williams of Jonesboro, Georgia, Lesa (Reginald) Walton of Cordova, Tennessee and Mia (James) Harris of Lonoke, Arkansas; three brothers, Larry Britt of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Darion (Mariko) Britt of San Antonio, Texas and Terrance (Sheila) Britt, Sr. of North Little Rock, AR. She also leaves one granddaughter, Amiyah Jimerson of Aubrey, Texas, and one aunt, Ida Mae (Elton) Redden of Tyler, Texas, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
