Ozzie Banks, III, age 40, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on December 9, 2025. Ozzie was a kind, funny, and adventurous soul whose warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Ozzie had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. His laughter was contagious, his jokes quick, and his heart big enough for anyone who needed him. He lived life with confidence, compassion, and a playful spirit, always ready to lift someone’s mood or lend a helping hand.
He loved trucking, cooking, capturing life through his camera, and exploring new adventures. But nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his daughter, Neveah. She was his pride, his heart, and his reason for shining even brighter each day. Ozzie had a special gift for turning ordinary moments into memories filled with laughter, love, and sometimes a playful prank.
Ozzie is survived by his beloved daughter, Neveah; his loving parents, Helen Scruggs and Ozzie Banks Jr.; his brother, Demetris; and his four nieces, Mariah, Isabelle, Noel, and Kenzie. He is also remembered fondly by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he touched in countless ways.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kiona Banks, whom he loved deeply.
Ozzie’s legacy is one of laughter, love, and generosity. He showed us all how to care for others, find joy in the little things, and live life fully. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the memories he created, the love he gave, and the hearts he touched.
Ozzie will be deeply missed but never forgotten—a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
