LeRoy Denfield Jackson Jr., affectionately known as “Jr. Roy,” was 47 years of age and a resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas. He transitioned from this life and entered his eternal rest on September 16, 2025. He was born to LeRoy D. Jackson Sr. and Sarah Jackson of Marvell, Arkansas.

LeRoy was a proud member of the Marvell High School Class of 1996, where he was honored as “Most Likely to Succeed.” He later attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Information Systems/Programming.

From an early age, LeRoy displayed wisdom beyond his years and a deep love for God. He became Assistant Pastor in 2009 and was later elevated to Senior Pastor in 2012. For seven years, he faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Apostolic Life Center in Marvell, Arkansas. In 2019, following the Lord’s leading, he resigned from that assignment and co-founded The Redemption City Worship Center Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where he served as Senior Pastor alongside his wife until his passing. His passion for worship, preaching, and teaching will be remembered for generations to come.

LeRoy was a devoted husband, father, son, and servant of God. He found great joy in spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, playing basketball, and above all, leading others closer to Christ. Known for his kind spirit, humble heart, and unwavering dedication to God, his life and ministry were marked by joy, faith, and a deep love for people. His wisdom, laughter, generosity, and service to the Kingdom of God have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Though his earthly presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of faith, leadership, and love will continue to inspire and uplift for generations to come.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kristen Danielle Jackson, and his grandson, Elijah Kai Jackson.
