LaTrina LaShay Wilson

April 11, 1977 — December 14, 2025

Little Rock

Mrs. Latrina Lashay “Trina” McClendon Wilson was born, April 11, 1977, to Mrs. Sharon Denise Coleman and Mr. Bobby Hardy, Sr. She departed this life on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehab Center (Little Rock).

Latrina was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and attended school in the Little Rock School District throughout her educational career. She graduated from Central High School. Latrina worked as a security officer throughout her career; and also, did work at the LaQuinta Inn, located in downtown Little Rock, until her health prevented her from working full time. At that time, she became a stay-at-home mom, and attended to her love, her children. She loved to read, write, and to do karaoke. She had a great love for game shows, especially Jeopardy, Wheel Fortune, and Family Feud. She was very smart and could answer the questions before the contestants. It was on her bucket list to be on Jeopardy.

Latrina met the love of her life, Donald Wilson, in 1997. They were married on September 7, 1998. They recently celebrated 27 years of marriage. Donnie and Trina truly enjoyed each other’s company--including riding together and enjoying the sites of the city. They loved to ride to the airport and watch the planes together. Donnie stood by Latrina’s side until her last breath. Together they raised their blended family. Latrina loved and cared for her children and cherished the love of her grandchildren.

Latrina was preceded in death by her oldest son, Tyler Darnell McClendon; her oldest grandson, Justin Shaun Howell; maternal grandfather and bonus grandfather, Mr. Freddie Lee McClendon, Sr. and Elder Jesse E. Agnew, Sr., her paternal grandmother, Mother Lois Holden; her father and mother in law, Mr. Frank Wilson and Ms. Willie Mae Lovelace; her bonus father, Mr. Cydney Coleman; her sisters in law, Joyce Ann Wilson and Berna [Sue] Wilson; and her brother in law, Larry Wilson.
