Kenya Janae Wright, aka (Monie) (K-Naynay) (K.J.) (Jae Money) went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was a warrior. She fought a strong fight battling Lupus. She was born April 21, 2003, to the union of George and Marlene Wright. She attended Ouachita Baptist University, where she majored in Kinesiology, later transferring to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to earn her degree in Sports Medicine with a minor in Psychology. She was baptized and became a member of Grace Baptist Church in Scott, Arkansas. She took on the job as a nursery monitor, Rock Kids Ministry, where she taught music and the books of the Bible, and would occasionally perform a song using sign language. She was the President of the Jacksonville North Pulaski Bands Booster Club. She loved to travel and see new things. Most of all, she loved life. She loved spending time with her niece, Haley, two nephews, Jacob and Keith, and all the children in the Rock Kids Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her three grandmothers, Ada M. Jenkins Beleford, Esther Mae Williams, and Janice Wright; grandfathers: Oliver James Williams and Cleveland Wright, Sr.; aunties: Callie Ann Beleford Ticey, Allie Jean Beleford Joyner, and Rhonda Mayfield; uncle: Cleveland Wright, Jr.; nieces: Summer Wright and Ava Wright.

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother: Marlene Wright of North Little Rock, AR; father: George (Carrie) Wright of Alexander, AR: brothers; Kevin Wright and Byron Wright of North Little Rock, AR: a very special friend, Eric Greer, Jr. of North Little Rock, AR; aunts: Arlene Williams, Kimberly Houston, and Phyllis Watson of North Little Rock, AR; Clara Fitzpatrick of DeWitt, AR, Clevie M. (Wilbur) Wright, Shirley (Walter) Brister, and Yvonne Hall of Stuttgart, AR, Darcy (Jennings) Ross of Folkston, GA,; uncles: Clarence Beleford, Thaddeus Beleford, and Michael (Janet) Jenkins, Sr. of DeWitt, AR; Merlin (Gleenover) Fitzpatrick of Grady, AR; and Lester (Linda) Fitzpatrick, Jr. of Toledo, Ohio, Thomas (Deana) Wright of Broken Arrow, OK, Clarence (Glyndora) Wright of Tulsa, OK, and Larence Wright of Grandview, MO, and Curtis Wright of New Orleans, LA; niece: Haley Wright; nephews: Keith Wright, and Jacob Fitzhugh; and special friend Arteasha Fitzhugh. A host of cousins, friends, and relatives.
