KENNETH WAYNE JOHNSON, born January 7, 1960 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Tracy Johnson, Sr and Cora Lee Adams Johnson, who both preceded him in death. Kenny transitioned to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 @ 5:22 a.m. He was preceded in death by his brothers -Tracy Jr. (Fat Daddy), Ray Anthony, and Arnold Charles, Sr.; and sisters - Brenda Rawls, Reta Johnson, and one nephew - Steven Earl Rawls, Sr; three aunts, four uncles and his grandparents on both sides of the family.

Kenneth confessed his hope in Christ at a young age and was baptized at St. Stephens Baptist Church, Dixie Addition.

He graduated from Little Rock Central High School and upon graduating, enlisted into the U.S. Army. He later attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) earning his diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

He was gainfully employed in his chosen field of nursing at St. Vincent Infirmary Hospital, LR for some time, but later moved to Baptist Health NLR where he worked for 30 years before becoming medically retired in August 2024.

He united in holy matrimony with Sophia Morris in 2009.

Kenneth cared for his family and friends. He loved to fish and watch sports with his mother. He was a man who did not like confusion and simply desired that everyone got along with love and harmony as commanded in the scriptures.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sophia L. Johnson, step-daughter Sharonda (Reginald) Franklin, twin god-children, Geary III and Genell Allen, Father-in-law Yusaf Pusha, three sisters Janice Miller, Martha (Edmund) Chase all of Little Rock and Madolyn (McTavish) Rivers of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, niece/sister Schunda Johnson; and beloved friend/brother Timothy Ganaway; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
