Johnny Lee Brewer was born March 21, 1951, to Laura Brewer Morgan and Earnest Easley in Little Rock, Arkansas. Johnny grew up in the Dick Jeter Community where he was a well-known mechanic. He attended Harris High School. Johnny accepted Christ at the age of thirteen under the leadership of Rev. Arthur Coleman at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. He loved to sing and his deep baritone could be heard singing hymns or the Blues throughout the house. He was a faithful member of the Mt. Ararat Choir until his health failed. Johnny was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp and later worked for Long Ford in Jacksonville as a Master Mechanic.

Johhny loved his family, especially his mother, daughter and those grandsons!

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Flora Mae Williams and Doris Morgan and brothers Melvin Miles, Eddie Killpatrick, Jessie Brewer, Leemy Brewer, and Raymond Cherry.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughter Brandy Nicole Brewer (Cardell Duggar) of Jacksonville; beloved step children Loretha West and Benny Billings, Jr. both of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Leemy Brewer of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Donald Clayborn of Evansville, Indiana; grandsons Brandon Shirnes and Bryson Duggar, three special grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
