Joe Timothy Hofford, Sr.

Joe Timothy Hofford Sr. was born July 10, 1951 in Tarry, AR to the late Ruby J Fells-Smith. He was preceded in death by this mother and wife Leslie Gail Hofford. Joe T transitioned on July 14, 2026.

He converted his life to Christ at the St. Peter’s Rock Baptist Church and was a God-fearing man until the day of his death. Graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1971. Long standing member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.

Joe was a custodian for the Little Rock School District at Terry Elementary for many years before he took on the role of being dump truck driver for 3M.

Memories of his life are left with his son Joe Hofford, Jr., Siblings: Veo Tyson, Andrew (Windy)Tyson, Floyd Smith, Corinthis (Yvonne) Fells, Jerry (Carlas) Smith, Fernander Smith, Tina (Donzell) Allen, Walter Mark Smith, Aunt Pearlie Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
