Jerrell Ebony Martin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jerrell Ebony Martin “Rell”, who was born on May 19, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Gerald and Joyce Martin. Jerrell sadly passed away on March 30, 2026. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Martin and her grandparents, Mildred Bradley, Nellie J. Martin-Byrd, and George Jackson, Sr.

Jerrell graduated from Wilbur D. Mills High School and will always be remembered for her infectious smile. She was non-verbal but would always greet you by laughing and smiling. She loved anything that would make her laugh. Jerrell knew who her family and loved ones were every time she saw them. She enjoyed being around family and watching comedy shows. From enduring many surgeries and hospital stays throughout her life, doctors believed she would not make it to sixteen, but God said otherwise. Her spirit was strong and resilient with every little battle she faced.

Jerrell is survived by her loving father, Gerald Martin of Bentonville, Arkansas; siblings, Lachelle Martin and Jeremy Martin; niece, Kavari Brammer, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, who all loved her dearly.
