Glen David Daniels was born October 27, 1950, in Magnolia, Arkansas to Venner Grissom and Willie Daniels.
At an early age he enjoyed playing basketball with friends and family. He had a deep love for his grandfather, Isaac Grissom, who instilled a wealth of knowledge and wisdom in him. He had a passion for cars and bought his first corvette in high school, and shortly after wrecked it. Glen always had dreams of being a heart surgeon, but shortly before the draft letters were sent, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving eight years total, and served in the Vietnam War.
Upon returning from the war, he began working in his passion for cars and became known as the transmission man. For over 50 years he served the greater Little Rock community, fixing what seems like everyone’s transmission and more.
He loved his family, especially his children. He had deep love for Eva Jay Alexander, his favorite cousin. Truly his family had a special place in his heart.
On September 20, 2024, at 1:30 in the morning, Glen made his transition from this place to a new home. He will truly be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Waiting on him there were his parents, two siblings, and a stepdaughter.
He leaves to cherish his memories five children, Teresa Hayes, Glenda Daniels, Sylvester Williams, III, Jayme James, and Marcia Daniels, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three siblings, and host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Our world and lives were enriched, simply because we knew him. His love, wisdom, and heart will continue to flow through all of those he touched.
