Geneva Dean-Brown

Geneva Dean-Brown was born March 5, 1950 to Roy and Lillie Mae Dean in Cotton Plant, AR. She departed this life on September 16, 2025.

“A TIME TO LIVE”

Geneva joined First Baptist Church James Addition in Cotton Plant during her early childhood days. She received her education from Cotton Plant School District. In 1975, Geneva moved to Chicago, IL and worked for Speagles for 20 years before moving back to Little Rock, AR. She was then employed by St Vincent Hospital until her health failed and she retired in December 2024, While employed at St Vincent she received several awards.

“A TIME TO DIE”

On September 16, 2025, Geneva answered her call to join her parents, Roy and Lillie Mae Dean along with 5 sisters Linda Miller, Barbara Dean, Royella Dean, Mary Dean and Laura Baker.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Kenneth Dean of Milwaukee, WI, Calvin (Marcia) Dean of Scott, AR and Raymond (Joan) Dean of Sherwood, AR, one daughter, Sherri Brown of Little Rock, AR, one sister, Jacqueline Dean and two brothers, Terry (Beatrice) Dean and Elroy (Sally) Dean all of Little Rock, AR, two brother-in-laws Norman Miller and Freddie Baker both of Little Rock, AR, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
