Ga’Nesha Monique Skerrett was the daughter of Sammie Crawford, Jr and Anita Williams. She was born on December 30, 1982, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life on January 21, 2026.
She graduated in 2001, from Lakes High School, Lakewood, Washington. She furthered her education and graduated from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff with an Associate Degree in Business. She moved from Live Oak, Florida to Little Rock, Arkansas where she resided until her transition.
Ga’Nesha’s interest included shopping, hiking, going to the beach, pets, working with different hair styles, and reading. She was a Philadelphia Eagles fan. She was an entrepreneur and very creative in developing business cards, customizing cups with logos and other various items, photography, t-shirts, and flyers for all events across the United States. She was employed for five years at Arkansas Department of Transportation where she was a Utility Coordinator.
Her maternal grandparents (Willie Williams and Beatrice Trusty) and parental grandparents; Sammie and Isabel Crawford preceded her in death.
Ga’Nesha leaves to cherish her memories: her husband; Mr. Alex Skerrett Little Rock, Arkansas; two children Ga’ Mari Alston and Brooklyn Skerrett Little Rock, Arkansas; her parents Mr. Sammie Crawford, Jr, Opelika, Alabama and Ms. Anita Williams, Little Rock, Arkansas; mother in law Ms. Rosara Morales, Camden, New Jersey, father in law Mr. Herman Skerrett Sr, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two brothers; Quante (Krishonda) Crawford, Little Rock, Arkansas and Sebastian Crawford, Opelika, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
