Frank Howard Threet

Frank Howard Threet was born on February 27, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Frank and Lois E. Threet. He is the middle child of three, and was preceded I death by his parents, and by his brother Clyde Gregory Threet. God called Frank home on June 30, 2026.

Frank was baptized at Pilgrim Rest at an early age, by Rev. O. J. Wilson. He served as a Junior Usher and was a member of the Youth Choir. He reunited with Pilgrim Rest on October 24, 2024, and was a faithful member until his death.

Frank graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1971 and attended the University of Central Arkansas. Frank loved God, he loved his family, he loved sports, he loved people. He spent most of his working life interacting with people. He was employed at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, CARTI, and lastly at Care Links.

Frank met the love of his life, Theressa Worthen, in March 1981, and they were married on June 16, 1986. They observed their 40th wedding anniversary shortly before his death.

Frank leaves to cherish is memory his wife, Theressa Threet; sons Christian Threet(Jessica) of San Antonio, Texas and Antonio Nelson of Little Rock; daughter Alicia Nelson of Houston, Texas; sister Diane Threet of Little Rock; three grandchildren – Toni Aniya Nelson, Caleb Parker Threet and Ciara Marie Threet; mother-in-law Earnestine Worthen; three brothers-in-law- Rodney Worthen, David Worthen, Carl Joe Worthen; one sister-in-law Shelita Fulks; 12 nephews; 4 nieces and a host of cousins and friends.

Although Frank has departed this earthly life, his legacy of faith, love, kindness and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. His life was a testament to God’ grace, and his memory will forever be cherished.
