Fotra Lee Bowden

October 5, 1956 — May 13, 2026

LITTLE ROCK

Fotra Bowden was born on October 5,1956 in Portland, Arkansas to the late Lillie Mae Bowden. He graduated from Tillis High School in Portland, Arkansas. He later moved to Little Rock where he was introduced to his lovely wife Pearline Bowden. They survived a lovely marriage of over 50 years. Fotra dedicated 50 plus years of service to National Custom Hollow Metal Doors and frames.

Early in life, Fotra confessed with his mouth and believed in his heart that Jesus Christ was his personal Lord and Savior.

Forta enjoyed spending time daily with his loving wife. He enjoyed family time, Sunday dinners and weekly dates. He loved to sit on the porch after a long day of work. The camper was his second home. Most of all, Fotra loved making his wife smile. He was often heard saying his daily speech “There will never be another you Ms. Bowden”.

Fotra was the best grandpa, great grandpa, father, and most of all “Husband”. His family was his world. He was always that one phone call away for his house, work, car work or just because you needed someone to talk to.

Fotra was preceded in death by his mother Lillian Mae Bowden, two brothers Marvin Watts and Harold Watts, and one sister Rita Bowden.

To cherish his special memories, Forta leaves behind his loving wife Pearline Bowden; three daughters: Flecia Jones, Fratina(Edward) Brown, and Ashley William; three sons: Fotra Bowden Jr., Napoleon Bowden, and Kenneth Jones; four sisters: Linda (Bobby) Thompkins, Mary Watts, Betty Watts, and Rose (Don) Morgan; three brothers: Leonard (Reana) Watts Jr, Lonnie (Leona) Watts, and Billy Watts. Fotra also leaves a host of grand-children and great grand-children.
