Fannie Mae Williams

Fannie Mae Williams, age 89, entered eternal rest peacefully on March 8, 2026, at her home in Hemet, California, surrounded by the love of her devoted daughter.

She was born on October 2, 1936, in Altheimer, Arkansas, to Eles Boykin and Essie Boykin. At an early age, Fannie accepted Christ and carried her faith with quiet strength throughout her life.

In her early years, she worked diligently in the cotton fields while nurturing her home and raising her children with love, resilience, and unwavering devotion. In 1954, she united in marriage with her beloved husband, Louis Edward Williams, and from this union, four children were born.

Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, Eles and Essie Boykin; her husband, Louis Edward Williams; her sons, Charles Edward Williams, Don Ellis Williams, and Raymond Williams; her brother, Johnny Boykin; and three cherished grandchildren.

She leaves to honor and cherish her precious memory her loving daughter, Linda Joyce Citizen (Joseph); her sister, Florine Harris; and her beloved grandchildren, Joseph Citizen (Carrie), Don Williams Jr., Deshawn Anderson, Denisha Williams, Deidra Williams, Dominique Williams Austin (Montrell), Rakia Williams, and Epiphani Wilson. Her legacy continues through her 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and loved ones who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Fannie Mae Williams will be remembered for her strength, her faith, her outspoken spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Her life was a testament to perseverance, family, and unwavering truth.
