Euphemia Damaris Woods was born to Mary Ann Bryant-Parker and Frank Parker (Willie Mae) on August 26, 1970. She was raised in Jacksonville, Arkansas and graduated from Jacksonville High School. From a young age, she was very vibrant and a joy to be around. She would light up any room with her presence. A natural encourager to many and a woman of great faith. Euphemia was always willing to help anyone whether there was a need or not. She loved her family and friends.
Euphemia married Joseph Woods on August 8, 1992. They were married for 33 years.
She accepted Christ at an early age and later joined Amazing Grace Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Walter Woods, where she served on the Hospitality Committee.
She departed this earthly life peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of 55. She preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Euphemia leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Joseph Woods; three sons, Shaverone Parker, Anthony Parker and Corinthian Parker, all of Jacksonville, AR; three daughters, Eugenia (Blake) McGill of Cabot, Arkansas, Cierra Parker of Maumelle AR, Kadijah Woods of Houston, TX; parents, Frank and Mary Ann Parker; seven sisters: Shanice Parker of North Little Rock, Pauline York of the District of Columbia, Reconna Parker of North Little Rock, AR, Reshuna Cranford of Little Rock, AR, Carol Brown (Andy) of North Little Rock, Doris Ackin of North Little Rock, and Rhonda Harris of North Little Rock; and two brothers, Tallaferro Parker of Columbus, Ohio and Ricky Rodgers (Kimberly) of North Little Rock; fourteen grandchildren, one great-grandson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including two very special friends, Nicole Carlock and Nicole Travis.
