Elvie "T. J." Nelson, Jr.

Elvie “T.J.” Nelson, Jr. departed this life on March 14, 2026. He was born on February 13, 2002, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Jarvethia Randolph (Felix) and Elvie T. Nelson, Sr.; grandmother, Deborah Aaron (Clyde); siblings, Ezra Patterson, Sebraya Hill (Alex), Tierra Nelson, Kimberly Anderson (Ralph), and stepsister, Telisha Wilson, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

He professed his faith in Christ at a young age, and lived a life full of laughter and love, with a spirit that made everyone feel special. Elvie was big on love, the type of love we will carry with us forever.

To his mom, “T.J.” was more than a son, he was a piece of her heart, her joy, her baby. To the family, he was a strong loving brother and an amazing uncle, who would do anything for those he loved. There was nothing “T.J” wouldn’t do for his family. His presence brought comfort, and his love brought everyone closer together. He had a heart for people and cared deeply for others, especially those in need, always trying to help the homeless and anyone going through hard times. That’s the type of man he was, selfless, kind, and full of compassion.

Most of all, “T.J” loved the Lord, and his faith grants us peace, knowing that he is resting in the arms of God now. Although our hearts are hurting, we know this good-bye is not forever, only for now. Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit,” and we believe He is near to us.

We will miss you deeply “T.J.”, but your love, your voice, and your spirit will live on in each of us. Until we meet again, we hold on to the memories and love that you gave so freely.
