Ella Jean Davis was born to Elijah Lester Jr and Mary Elizabeth Johnson in Memphis, Tennessee on July 14th, 1953. She departed this life peacefully on November 9th, 2024, at her home in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ella accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was Baptized at an early age. She attended Lily of the Valley ministry under the leadership of Bishop James Vurger & Pastor Alline Vurger.
Ella later moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and attended Delta Career College where she got her Certification in Nursing Assistant. After obtaining her nursing assistant license she worked as a Healthcare Professional throughout Arkansas for many years. She later changed career paths and worked for Exxon Mobile where she retired after 16 years.
Ella was a loving devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, Cousin, and Friend to those who knew her. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling, watching the San Fransico 49ers play, spending time with family and friends.
Ella was proceeded in death by her daughter Latrica Renee Robinson-Campbell; Mother Mary Elizabeth Johnson, Father Elijah Lester Jr, Stepmother Callie M Lester, Sisters Dallie Lester, Everlene Lester, Luevenia Franks-Harris, Emma Franks-Bynum, and Brother Hayward Franks Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Selma (Shonta)Robinson III, Daughters Erica Robinson of Dallas, Texas, Sherell Robinson, Tracey (John)Holden of North Little Rock, Arkansas, 8 Grandchildren Bianca Boles, Kala Rossi Harris, Selma Robinson IV; Curtise Wiggins, Joshua Riles, Breanna Robinson, Kayson Robinson, and Raylen Howard; 9 Great grandchildren, Brothers Destry (Alicia)Franks, Elijah Lester Jr. of West Memphis, Arkansas, David Lester of West Memphis, Arkansas, Mae Hurst, Bernice Lester, Elizabeth(Billy)Burris of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ollie(Eric)Waddell of Columbus, Georgia, Bobbie Lester of Louisville, Kentucky, Ella Wee Lester, Grand Prairie, Tx, Bonnie Callahan of west Memphis, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
