Eligiah Lucas
Eligiah was born on 3/26/1997 to Keith Holland Sr. and Yasheka Holmes in Little Rock Arkansas.
As a toddler he learned to walk early just to keep up with his big cousins, he loved running and playing with his cousins. He was such a smart boy and he LOVED hugs. at 5 yrs old his mother put him into the AAU summer football program where he became a Sunset Tiger earning trophies and medals for star performance on his team. He continued to play for this team until he was 11 yrs old then life happened and he Gained an adopted father LaVon Lucas, picking up a circle of family's where had plenty of cousins, uncle's, aunt's and his Pride family along with his Great-grand ma/pa (Big Momma Alice clay &Big Daddy Ceasar Clay Sr. who proceeded him in dealth) who all had a hand in his up bringing.
Entering Middle school his mother discovered that he was a computer wiz. He could work a computer by just using trail and era. he was an amazing kid. He used social media at 14 yrs old to reach out to his Florida family where he met his brothers and Sisters and formed a bond with them as well as talking with his father. Eligiah loved life and he loved to see others laugh and smile.
In 2017 Indya Lucas made eli a first-time father she was his pride and joy. He would always say he got to get right for his daughter and was trying hard to do just that. He wasn't a perfact person, none of us are but always let her know that he loves her whole heartedly and always wanted to be there for her and stood on that.... So, he Co-Parented with her mom and just did the best that he knew how to do. He introduced her to his special friend Kera who joined the circle of people who would be there for her.
Eligiah leaves to cherish his memories to His mother Yasheka Holmes, His Aunt Sonya Holmes, and his uncle's Stacy, Stephen and John Holmes. He has a bundle of cousins, His childhood best friend Marcus Sabb and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 14, 2023, 11:00am at Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 5300 West 12th Street. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 3:00-4:00pm at Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 5300 West 12th Street.
