Dorothy Walker Robinson

Dorothy Robinson, 80, of Humphrey, Arkansas, was born to the late Silas and Ruth Walker on April 28, 1945. She was the youngest of eleven children, all of whom preceded her in death.

She departed this earthly life on October 27, 2025, at 12:05 P.M. at Baptist Health Medical Center, Stuttgart, AR.

Dorothy was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Jerrell Robinson, who preceded her in death. To this union, five children were born. Dorothy received her formal education in the Wabbaseka School District. She was an exceptional wife, mother and home maker.

Dorothy confessed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Cotton at Mulberry Grove Baptist Church, Wabbaseka, Arkansas.

In 1963, she united with the First Missionary Baptist Church, Humphrey, Ar. under the leadership of Rev. I.J. Ross, where she was a faithful member. In 1975, under the Leadership of Rev. Dr. Arthur Hughes, Jr., as Church Clerk, she remained an active and dedicated member for over four decades. She also served dutifully as Usher and Choir member, as well as song leader. Dorothy loved knowing the Word of God and was an active participant in the National Baptist Convention/Congress. As a mother, she instilled obedience and a love for God in her children and extended family/

Her life exemplified a genuine love for God, her family, and the Church at large. She lived a life defined by quiet strength, deep integrity and unwavering faith. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, humility, sweet smile and will be greatly missed by her family, Church family and friends.

Dorothy is predeceased by her Parents and her two sons: Stanley and LaDerick Robinson.

She leaves to celebrate her life, three loving children: Russell Eugene (Sherry) Robinson. Cheryl McNeil, all of Humphrey, Arkansas, Frederick Robinson of Little Rock, AR, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
