Doris, 41, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, gained her wings on February 25, 2024. She was on life support and was disconnected on February 28, 2024.
The morning of March 11, 1982 was a very special one. A second daughter was born to Teresa and Gary. Who knew that this little girl would make such a great impact on everyone she would meet. This little girl was given the name Doris Jean Smith Leach (named after her grandmother). Doris was very bubbly as a child and could give you a look with those big pretty eyes that would melt your heart and were great for her always getting out of trouble, lol. One of her biggest hobbies while growing up was always pestering her big sister and she did it well, lol.
Doris lived a very eventful life and made many friends along the way. At the age of 13, she made her personal decision to give her life to Christ. She believed in family and always wanted a huge one for herself (which she did achieve). Wanting to follow her mother's footsteps, Doris became a CNA at the age of 18.She quickly saw that maybe that wasn't it for her and found waitressing to be her passion. Her personality was perfect for that. She excelled, met so many great people, and was able to experience great things in this profession. Doris was a very caring and loving mother, who would always go beyond the extra mile to protect her children. They are and always will be her world. In any social environment she thrived. If you want the party started right, you better not leave her off the list. She was always so carefree and never gave a thought about anything anyone had to say. Doris always stayed true to her authentic self. She was finally able to live out her lifelong dream of being a wife, when she was married in June of 2022. With such a sweet spirit and soul, Doris most definitely earned her wings.
She was preceded in death by Great-Grandmother Lil Lamar, Grandmother Doris Lamar, Grandfather Odies Leach, Aunt Lisa Leach, and uncle Nicky Lamar. She leaves to cherish her memories husband Charles Roberson, 11 children Champaigne, Porsche, Alexis, Mercedes, Anastasia, Pachence, Javeon, Jason Jr., Jayla, Jayden, and Elijah. Mother Teresa Leach (Step-father Douglas Murphy) father Gary Smith, Sister Elaina Lambert, uncle (special father) Chris Leach, Uncle Tracy Mayfield, Aunt JoAngela Browning, nephews Cutez Nichouls and Christopher Nichouls, 1 niece Chairese Nichouls. She also leaves her best friend (Brandy) a host of aunts, uncles, special cousins, and friends to help keep her memory alive.
