Diana Marie Shields

Diana Marie Shields, 67, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 11, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Edward Jack and Gloria Shields.

Diana attended Little Rock Central High School and was a devoted mother to her three sons, Shawn, Christopher, and Bryant. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and a dear friend to many.

Diana was the first lady to work for the City of Little Rock Sanitation Department. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping at Walmart, and getting her nails done. She was a faithful member of the Greater St. John Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart, and loving spirit.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Jack and Gloria, and by her son, Bryant.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Shawn and Christopher; four grandchildren, Lil Shawn, Lil Brian, Bryce, and Osha; siblings, Mildred Shields, Carol Shields, Felecia (Steve) Mills, Natlyn Ghant, Raymond Roston, Cassandra Roston, and Jennifer Roston; a special niece, Denise Banks (Charles), as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
