Demetrise Mae Wilson

June 12, 1984 — May 5, 2026

North Little Rock

Demetrise Mae Cloud-Wilson, a devoted mother and dedicated public servant, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work and devotion to her family.

Born on June 12, 1984, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Demetrise was the daughter of Tammish Neal and Ervin Cloud.

From a young age, she accepted Christ into her life and was baptized at Starlight Baptist Church in Slidell, LA. Upon moving to Little Rock, AR, she continued her walk with the Lord as a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Scott, AR, under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus Jimmy Harper Sr. and Pastor Kenneth Lovelace.

On March 29, 2006, Demetrise was united in holy matrimony to Christopher Wilson Sr.

To this union, three children were born who became the absolute light of her life.

Demetrise was a woman of strong principle and a tireless worker, serving 18 dedicated years with Veterans Affairs Hospital – Canteen Services. She took great pride in serving our nation’s veterans. Her spirit of service extended into her community as a proud member of Essence of Light #008 Order of the Eastern Star where she sat as the Associated Matron by way of Neriah Grand Chapter #1001. She actively participated in adopt a street clean up and feedings of the less fortunate. She lived her life rooted in the spirit of charity, always willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need.

While she was a dedicated worker, her greatest joy was found at home. She loved spending time with family and friends. Of all her accomplishments, Demetrise was proudest of her role as a mother. She worked exceptionally hard to provide for her three beautiful children, who were the absolute joy of her life. She was known by friends and family for her straightforward, honest nature, "matter-of-fact" personality that earned her the respect and love of all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Lillie Wilson, Janet Alexander-Cloud, James Cloud, and Ervalene Elliott.

Her memory will be cherished by her three children: Christopher Wilson, Jr., Jeremiah Wilson, and Jada Wilson; her parents Charles and Tammish Neal; her father, Ervin Cloud; her sister, Shaneka (Antwon) Williams; and her brother, Brandon Cloud. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her strength and presence daily.
