D’Andre Augustus Gooden, 18; born March 9, 2007 in Vallejo, California. He was the first born and the only boy to Serpico & Myesha Gooden.
D’Andre aka Fat Dre, rap name “Hoodrich Dre”, (HRD for short) entered eternal life at the age of 18 in Jacksonville Arkansas on Thursday July 17, 2025.
He grew up in a great home and never wanted or needed anything. Spoiled living his best life like a rolling stone until accompanied by his sisters, at a very young age he grew protective and responsible of them. As a young boy he played football, baseball, and did karate. He was a ball of energy and always running around loud and wild with his shirt off like a little warrior. He was adventurous with a big imagination fighting running and jumping, riding motorcycles and bikes making the best sound effects! Beating & drumming while rapping banging on pots & pans. He played any instrument his mama let him get his hands on and can tolerate, because nobody knows baby D’Andre knows. In his adolescence D’Andre attended Lonoke Schools up until his last year and decided to finish at Jacksonville High School. His first job was at Waffle House he would get up every morning and walk at the crack of dawn in the summer. He was always a hustler and wanted more to elevate his life. The last job he worked at Arby’s every day after school.
D’Andre enjoyed cooking, making music, freestyling, hanging with his friends, loving life, and “working up an appetite “. His favorite color is red, favorite food of all time is and will always be Mac n cheese, especially baked. Lamb chops are his favorite meat and Milo’s purple top extra sweet tea is his drink of choice. He LOVED banana pudding and cheesecake they were his favorite desserts; he appreciated real food not candy nor junk food!
So many accomplishments and dreams awaited him; four months ago, was his 18th birthday, three months ago he made his first music video for his rap career, two months ago graduated from High School, and just weeks ago, applied to college to practice law! D’Andre’s passions and interests of music, motorcycles, cars, and laughter followed him since birth; He couldn’t help it! it was in him not on him … He was a son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, a light of every room he walked in. A vibrant young man, happy, smart, ambitious, helpful, caring, determined, loving, strong, fun, goofy, magnificent all wrapped in one NEVER a dull moment
To comfort us all he’s going home to join his grandmothers; Erika & Diane, great-grandmother; Debbie, great-grandfathers; Andre & Charles, an uncle; Wowo, his God-sister; Yunique, and his friends, Tark & Lil D.
To smile and cherish his memories he leaves his parents Serpico & Myesha Gooden, siblings; Zenobia , Zuri , lyric, & step sister Jayden, favorite aunts; Mumu & Quana, grandparents; Jahmal and Charles, God-mother’s; Antoinisha Johnson & Phylicia Price, God-siblings; Kingston, Yumonte , Marcel , Markel , Markalya , Bryce, Khalessi, and Giana, his nephews & nieces; Zion, Ezra , Za’cai, Iriz, & Pariz, favorite uncles; Nunu, Dee, and Marco, and his favorite cousins; Cameron , Kirk , Morgan & Moody, he also leaves behind a village of aunts , uncles , cousins , friends , family , colleagues, and teammates he loved deeply!
