Curtis Andre Wright, III, also known as Dre, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 12, 1970, to Barbara Summerville and Curtis Wright Jr. Curtis confessed his hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Booker at the Saint Peters Rock Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Central High School “Class of 1989”.
Curtis had many jobs over the years; work wasn't a stranger to him, as he showed himself to be a dedicated worker until his health declined. Curtis had a passion for cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for listening to loud music and greeting everyone with a smile.
He is preceded in death by his fathers, Curtis Wright, Jr. and Calvin Morgan, Sr., grandparents, John T. Summerville, Sr., Frances Davis, Helen Summerville, and Curtis Wright, Sr., and aunts, Elizabeth Howard and Linda Wright.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memories to his dear mother, Barbara Summerville; grandmother, Gladys (Eddie Sr.) Burns; children, Andre Wright, Kevin Baird, Jasmine Penister, Curtis Wright IV, Keelo Cavarasiae Wright, and Treyvon Wright; bonus children, Edward Anderson, Kierston Hall, Amanda, and Taliyah; a special fiancé, Alicia Craig; 10 grandchildren; a special niece, Amber Azemar; two special nephews, Gabriel Barnes and Jacob Barnes; sisters, Barbara Wright, Frantesa Wright, Kimberly Peace, Brandee (Donald) Lewis, Tamara Williams, and Kimberly Harris; brothers, Kevin Morgan, Calvin (Angela) Morgan, Donald (Latasha) Morgan and Cornelius Morgan; uncles, J.T. (Jenice) Summerville, Calvin Wright, and Eugene Wright Albert Jr.; aunts, Brenda Moton, Lawanda Johnson, Vanessa Ramsay, Yvonne Wright, and Sharon Marshall, as well as a host of relatives, family and friends.
