Comera Farmer was born on November 17, 1974, in McCory, Arkansas to Richard and Ella Farmer. Comera was baptized at St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend C. Dennis Edwards I.
Comera received her former education through the Little Rock School District, graduating from Central High School in 1994. She received her B.S. Degree in Social Services from Philander Smith College (University) in 1999. She was employed for twenty (20) plus years as a Social Service Specialist with the Department of Health Services, helping to link families and children through adoption and foster care; in addition, she worked as a Patient Care Technician for the St. Vincent Hospital.
She was a lifetime volunteer alongside her parents to the Cotton Plant Club of Greater Little Rock, helping through her time, collecting toys, winter coats for children, senior citizen’s day, and participating in fund raising events for thirty years in helping to give back to the community of Cotton Plant, Arkansas.
Comera transitioned from this earthly life on June 2, 2026, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Comera leaves to cherish her memories, her loving parents Richard and Ella Farmer; aunts: Elma Brown of Searcy, AR; Zella Farmer of Maumelle, AR; Mollie Hamberlin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Naomia Miller of San Diego, California; uncles: Jerome Farmer of Maumelle, AR; and Malcum Jackson of Little Rock, AR; and a large host of cousins, friends and work family.
