Christopher Leonard Jones

Christopher Leonard Jones was born on September 29, 1972, to the late Freddie James Jones Jr. and Angela Thomas Jones. He departed this earthly life on October 25, 2026.

Christopher was a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, and family member whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Christopher graduated from McClellan High School in 1990. Shortly after graduating, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy, beginning a new chapter in his life dedicated to service and commitment.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Freddie James Jones Jr. Though his passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on through his family for generations to come.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving mother, Angela Thomas Jones; his children, Z’Kia Long, Jazmine Jones, Christopher L. Jones Jr., and Genesis Jones; his brother, Glenn L. Stewart (Cyndi Stewart); his sisters, Pamela Ann Stewart-Stephenson (Deshoma Stephenson) and Joanelle Lenia Jones-Hartley (Rodney Hartley); and his beloved granddaughter, Mia Jones. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Though Christopher’s earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy will continue through the lives of his children, the joy of his granddaughter, and the countless memories shared with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all whose lives he touched.

His memory will live on, his love will remain, and his presence will never be forgotten.
