Carolyn Sue Robinson Jackson was born October 12, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Preston Devine Robinson Sr. and Mary Tucker Robinson.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, sisters Barbara Robinson, and Clarice Robinson Woodley, brothers Preston Devine Robinson Jr., Maurice Robinson, Ronald Lee Robinson and James Leroy Robinson.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and started her walk with Christ at First Baptist Church, 901 Calhoun Street under the leadership of Reverend O.V Harrison. Her journey led her to unite with other prominent ministries in the greater Little Rock area, such as Greater Paradise Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Jerry Black; and later under Reverend Charles E Williams where she was ordained and received her minister’s credentials on January 5, 1996; Awareness Center International-Diversity Institute, formerly known as Trumpet in Zion under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Lawrence E. Braggs Sr. and St. Mark Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Steven Arnold and later Pastor Phillip Pointer where she remained a member until the Lord called her home.
Carolyn’s work history included working at Timex Corporation as a Line Supervisor, then in various roles of Janitorial/Housekeeping services as an area director, supervisor, trainer/preceptor, and/or housekeeper for Oxford Janitorial Services, Cobbs Janitorial Services, Federal Reserve Bank, Dassault Falcon Jet, and University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS). Her technical skills included being a licensed forklift driver, skilled operator of all janitorial machines, such as, shampooer, Host machine, buffer, scrubber, floor vacs and more.
She retired from the Federal Reserve Bank when the Little Rock branch relocated. In June 2023, she retired from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS).
Carolyn went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:41 a.m. surrounded by the love of her family.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, a devoted daughter, Patre Denise Owens Allen, granddaughter, Amber Allen Wilson (Marcus) all of Bryant, AR, grandson, Lee Wesley Allen III of Canton, GA. She also leaves behind two great grandsons, Jayce Major Allen and Marcus Eugene Wilson Jr., one great granddaughter, Marlee Michelle Wilson and a bonus great grandson, Andrew Wilbon Jr., a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, bonus daughters from her inner circle, they know who they are and friends
