Billy Gene Molden, Jr., was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 16th, 1963, to the late Billy Gene Molden, Sr., and the late Jettie Mae Morgan-Molden. He departed this life on April 15th, 2024, at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Lee and Dora Morgan, paternal grandparents, Lawrence Sr., and Leona Molden, and an aunt, Willie B. Montgomery.
He worked as a long time Security Guard, Legal Shield Representative, Homeland Security, Bounty Hunter, and finally his job of passion with the Chicago Police Department as a Court Advocate for approximately the last seven and a half years. He did his job with love and passion, winning several awards and certificates.
Billy Jr. grew up in the Pentecostal Apostolic Church, where he grew a strong passion for the Lord. He loved his family, and they loved him to life. He had a host of relatives and friends with whom he shared his humor with. When he laughed it was like no other, and he was known for that special laughter.
Billy Jr. will always be in the hearts of our family, and the love we have for him will never die.
He leaves to cherish wonderful memories his sister, Cherry Lynn Molden; three nieces, Keisha (Kunte) West, Raychelle Fuller, and Roshon Fuller; two great nieces, Kyra West and Semaja Watson; a great nephew Kaiden West; his favorite aunts, Everline Morgan-Tolbert and Dean (Bennie) Daughtery ; two uncles, Don (Velma) Molden and Gomie Molden, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
