Ahmad J. Adams was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on December 13, 2001 to Kimberly Smith and the late Corey Adams. He demonstrated an exceptional talent for sports at a young age, which would begin to define much of his life. His childhood and teenage years were filled with victories, training, and a passion for competition, all of which would shape him into the individual who made a mark on his community and beyond.

Ahmad was a graduate of Bryant High School, class of 2020 and went on to further his education at Arkansas State University, pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. He was also a part of A-State ROTC. Ahmad joined the Army National Guard where he was a part of the 185th Engineer Battalion, completing one state side tour at the U.S. Boarder. Ahmad was currently employed at W|W AFCO Steel.

Ahmad was a beloved former Arkansas State University football player and standout athlete from Bryant, Arkansas. Ahmad was not only known for his athletic talent and academic pursuits but for the profound impact he had on those around him. He is a devoted husband, proud father, and an exemplary son, his presence in the world was marked by warmth, generosity, and love. Ahmad’s life, while far too short, was one filled with accomplishments, love for his family, and an unshakable dedication to his dreams.

Ahmad was admired by his coaches, teachers, and teammates for his work ethic, leadership, and his ability to inspire others both on and off the field. His influence extended beyond the field as he mentored younger players, offering guidance and advice on how to navigate not only in football but in life. His football career was highlighted by his instrumental role in leading the Hornets to their first state title, back-to-back state championships in 2018 and 2019.

Ahmad’s dedication to sports didn't stop with football. He was also a talented state champion wrestler, further showcasing his versality and commitment to excellence in athletics. His ability to excel in multiple sports not only demonstrated his physical ability but also his mental toughness and drive to succeed in all areas of his life.

Ahmad loved so many things beyond sports, so many things, that nothing could be marked off the list. Ahmad loved various genres from Pooh Shiesty to Frank Sinatra. He loved fishing, anime, chess, he was a true Marvel Comic expert. Ahmad loved to cook in which he created his own

special sauces. He was a survivalist, preparing for any unplanned event. He was a lover of all animals, in which, we must mention his beloved dogs Maximus and Luna, his cats Pebble and Bruce, and Spike the turtle.

Ahmad believed in brotherhood, an unwavering bond that he based on respect, love, and loyalty. Ahmad would go above and beyond to protect his family, friends, and brothers.

Ahmad completed his assignment here on earth May 12, 2025, preceded in death by his grandmother Veronica Young.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his wife Anaya Adams, daughter; Charlie Adams, his mother; Kimberly Smith, his bonus dad; Thomas Stone, his Godmother; Tiffany Hughey, Grandparents; Rev. Johnny Smith, Jr., Larnecia Daymon, Earnest and Debra Adams, and Rita Hughey, his brothers Cavasia Adams, Correll Adams, and sister Cori Adams and a host of loving in-laws, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Ahmad will be deeply missed, and his memory will be everlasting.
